Szatmári shells are short, rounded, shell-shaped pasta, made from wheat flour and fresh eggs in a ratio of 6 eggs/kg. Their elastic texture and deep shape allow them to absorb and retain sauces better than other types of pasta. They are perfect for gratin recipes, rich cheese or meat sauces, but also for pasta salads. A versatile assortment, with authentic taste and quality consistency.
