Mari Excellent Squares are egg pasta, cut into square shapes, specific to Romanian homemade dishes. Made from wheat flour and egg (2 eggs/kg), they are ideal for recipes such as sauteed cabbage with noodles, noodles with milk or fasting dishes in which the pasta complements the authentic flavors. Their texture allows them to absorb the taste of slow-cooked dishes, and the square shape gives them a rustic look.
